EMDR Trained | LGBTQ+ Affirming | Neurodivergent-Aligned | Trauma-Informed | Integrative & Relational

Hi, I’m Katelyn!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, and my work is grounded in relationship, safety, and curiosity. I take a trauma-informed and integrative approach—meaning we’ll work together in a way that feels attuned to you: your story, your needs, and your pace.

I work with people navigating developmental and relational trauma, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, and challenges in relationships or with self-connection. My hope is to offer a space where you can bring your full self, feel understood, and begin reconnecting with your emotions, body, and sense of identity.

A Bit About Me

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in advocacy, case management, and trauma-informed care across many settings—including residential treatment centers for youth, juvenile detention, and systems work with survivors of trafficking. These experiences shaped how I hold space for complexity and taught me that real healing happens in spaces of trust, not pressure.

That’s why I take a deeply person-centered approach: I meet you where you’re at. I won’t ever expect you to perform healing on a timeline, or to meet me anywhere you’re not ready to go.

I bring my full human self to the work, and I value being present, grounded, and willing to sit with the messy and uncertain parts alongside you.

My Approach

I draw from person-centered, EMDR, parts work (IFS), Coherence Therapy, and somatic-informed practices. I don’t believe in forcing a method; I use what fits and feels most supportive for you.

I don’t see symptoms as something “wrong” to fix. I see them as ways your nervous system learned to protect you. Together, we’ll slow down, make sense of your experiences, and build a deeper, more compassionate connection with yourself in a way that feels manageable and safe.

Healing Doesn’t Look the Same for Everyone

There’s nothing wrong with you—you are not broken. Trauma, difficult relationships, and hard experiences can leave us disconnected from ourselves, and therapy is about finding your way back, at your own pace. My work is about helping you make sense of your experiences, strengthen your internal resources, and gradually feel more grounded, connected, and capable of navigating life on your terms.

Affirming Your Identity & Experience

I’m affirming and inclusive of neurodivergent experiences, LGBTQ+ identities, and the intersections of race, culture, and ability. My hope is that this is a space where you can bring your full self—who you are, where you’ve been—and feel seen and respected

How We Work Together

Therapy with me is collaborative and relational. Healing is not linear, and we move at a pace that feels right for you—sometimes slowing to notice and process, sometimes exploring patterns more deeply. My focus is on helping you feel safe with your emotions, rebuild trust in yourself, and feel more connected to who you are.

Ready to Begin?

If you’re ready to explore, reflect, and connect with yourself in a space that honors your story and identity, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. You don’t have to do it alone—healing is possible.
